Log in and get help, fast
To log in to ServiceM8, go to go.servicem8.com and sign in with the email your account was set up under. Lost access? Use the forgot-password link, or ask your account owner to re-send your staff invite. If you have taken over a business and nobody knows who owns the account, give Mitch a call.
Stuck on your own account?
Plenty of the businesses we help already pay for ServiceM8 and only use a third of it. A short review usually finds hours a week sitting in badges, forms and automations nobody switched on.
Sound familiar?
Running a busy trade or cleaning crew gets messy fast. Set up right, ServiceM8 takes the chaos out of it, and we make sure it's set up right.
- Quotes sit half-finished and some never get sent
- Job details live across texts, paper dockets and your memory
- You're chasing unpaid invoices and losing track of what's owed
- You pay for ServiceM8 but only use a fraction of what it does
Run every job from one place
ServiceM8 takes the admin chaos out of running a trade or property-care business. Quoting, scheduling, job cards, photos, client messages and invoicing all live in one app, on your phone and in the office. Set up right, it saves hours every week and means fewer jobs and dollars slip through the cracks. You can read the vendor's own feature list at servicem8.com, or see how it stacks up against the alternatives in our guide to job management software for NZ trades.
The catch: most businesses never set it up properly and only use a fraction of what it can do. That's where a certified partner makes the difference.

Book a free callSetup & configuration
We set ServiceM8 up properly from day one, tailored to how your trade actually quotes, schedules and invoices, so it fits your business, not the other way around.
Migration from spreadsheets
Moving off paper, spreadsheets or another tool? We bring your clients, jobs and templates across with minimal disruption.
Quotes, job cards & templates
We build out your quote templates, job cards, forms and email/SMS messaging so every job runs the same, professional way.
Online booking & automation
Set up online booking, recurring jobs and automated reminders so a quarterly window clean or annual service books itself, fewer jobs slip through the cracks and clients stay in the loop.
Integrations & custom development
Connect ServiceM8 to Xero or MYOB, and wire your website and lead forms straight into your pipeline. Where the standard platform stops, we build custom: bespoke forms, plugins and integrations that push data from your website straight into your ServiceM8 portal.
Training & ongoing support
We train you and your team so everyone actually uses it, and we are here for ongoing help as your business grows.
Moving from Tradify, Fergus or spreadsheets
You can switch, and you do not have to lose your client list to do it. There is no direct connector between Tradify, Fergus and ServiceM8, so a migration is three jobs: export from the old system, tidy the data, import into ServiceM8. We do all three, and we tell you up front what will not come across so nothing surprises you on go-live day. If you are still deciding, start with ServiceM8 vs Tradify vs Fergus.
What comes across
- Your client and site list. Business names, contacts, addresses, phone numbers and emails, exported from the old system and imported into ServiceM8.
- Your materials and price list, so quoting is fast from the first job.
- Your quote and invoice wording, rebuilt as ServiceM8 templates and forms with your logo, terms and payment details.
- Recurring clients and service reminders, rebuilt as ServiceM8 recurring jobs and badges.
- Your accounting history, which stays in Xero or MYOB where it belongs and connects to ServiceM8 from your go-live date.
What does not
- Job photos, attachments and message threads. Keep the old subscription open in read-only for a month or two, or export the files you need before you cancel.
- Live schedule states, running timers and half-finished quotes. Anything mid-flight gets finished in the old tool or re-entered.
- Custom fields and workarounds with no ServiceM8 equivalent. We map what matters and drop what only existed to patch the old system.
- Old invoices as invoices. Past jobs come across as records, not as re-issued invoices, because your ledger stays with your accounting software.
The safe way to cut over
Pick a date, usually the first of a month. From that date every new job goes into ServiceM8 and nothing new goes into the old system. Finish whatever is already open in the old tool, run both for a fortnight, then drop the old subscription once nothing is left running. Two weeks of overlap costs one month's subscription and saves you re-entering half-finished jobs. Not sure which system you should be on at all? Read our guide to job management software for NZ trades.

ServiceM8 pricing in New Zealand dollars
There are two costs and they are separate. You pay ServiceM8 a monthly subscription for the software, which starts at $0 and runs to $349 a month in NZD. You pay us once to set it up properly. What that setup comes to depends on your business, so book a free 15-minute call and Mitch will give you a straight number.
What our setup covers
Every setup covers the same ground. What moves the scope is your data, your team and how far you want the automation to go, so here is what we look at before we give you a number.
- Included as standard
Account configuration, quote and invoice templates, job cards, badges, forms and your Xero or MYOB connection.
- How much data comes across
A tidy client spreadsheet is quick. Years of history in Tradify, Fergus or a folder of paper dockets takes longer.
- How many people need training
A one-van operator and a crew of eight with office staff are two different jobs.
- How far the automation goes
Online booking, recurring jobs, reminders and your website lead forms wired straight in all add to the build.
- Ongoing help as you grow
Some owners want a hand every few months, others are away once the team is trained. We scope it to how you actually work.
- The 15-minute intro call
Free. Tell Mitch how you quote and schedule now and you get a straight number for your setup on the call.
What ServiceM8 charges
ServiceM8 prices on the number of jobs you create each month, not on how many staff you have. Every paid plan includes unlimited staff logins, which is why it suits small crews with a lot of hands on the tools. There is a 14-day free trial.
- Free 30 jobs a month, one user $0
- Starter 50 jobs a month, unlimited staff $29/mo
- Growing 150 jobs a month, unlimited staff $79/mo
- Premium 500 jobs a month, unlimited staff $149/mo
- Premium Plus 1,500+ jobs a month, unlimited staff $349/mo
ServiceM8's own prices in NZD as at July 2026, from servicem8.com/nz/pricing. Extra SMS beyond your plan allowance is 10c each, and taking card payments through ServiceM8 carries a processing fee that drops on the higher plans. Check the source before you budget, because these are ServiceM8's numbers to change, not ours.
Most one to five person trade and cleaning businesses land on Growing or Premium once they are quoting properly. For the full plan-by-plan breakdown, including how the job-credit model compares to Tradify's per-user pricing, read what ServiceM8 really costs in NZ.
Do it once, do it right
ServiceM8 is not hard to switch on. It is hard to configure so it fits your trade and your team actually uses it. Here is the difference, line by line.
| What changes | On your own | With Horton Taylor |
|---|---|---|
| Time to set up | Evenings and weekends working out what each setting does. | Configured in days while you stay on the tools. |
| Fit for your trade | Generic out-of-the-box setup that suits nobody in particular. | Built around how you actually quote, schedule and invoice. |
| Features used | Half of them never switched on, so you pay for what you never touch. | Badges, forms, online booking and automations turned on and explained. |
| Quotes and invoices | The default template with your logo dropped in. | Templates, terms and email wording built to win the job. |
| Xero or MYOB | Connected and hoped for the best. | Mapped properly so your accountant is not fixing it in July. |
| Training | Whoever on the team reads the help articles first. | Everyone trained on the part of the job they actually touch. |
| When it breaks | A support ticket and a guess. | Call Mitch, the Certified Partner who set it up. |
| Where the work comes from | Not part of the conversation. | Your ads, website and lead forms feed jobs straight in. |
The credential, checkable. Horton Taylor is a ServiceM8 Certified Partner, listed in ServiceM8's partner directory (see our listing). It is run by Mitchell Horton from Mount Maunganui, who has spent 10+ years working with New Zealand service businesses and has owned service businesses himself. You deal with Mitch, not an account manager.
We bring the leads. ServiceM8 runs the jobs.
Most marketers stop at the lead. Most ServiceM8 setups ignore where the leads come from. We do both, so the enquiry from your Google or Facebook ad flows into a system that quotes fast, books the job and follows up automatically. One partner for the whole pipeline: more leads in, every job handled. If the enquiries are the bigger problem right now, start with our marketing for trade businesses.

Common questions
What is ServiceM8?
ServiceM8 is job management software built for trade and service businesses. It handles quoting, scheduling and dispatch, job cards, online booking, client communication and invoicing, all from your phone or computer. If you are still comparing options, start with the best job management software for NZ trades.
How do I log in to ServiceM8?
Go to go.servicem8.com and sign in with the email address your account was set up under. If you have lost access, use the forgot-password link, or ask whoever holds the account owner login to re-send your staff invite. If you have taken over a business and nobody knows who owns the account, we can help you sort it out.
How much does ServiceM8 itself cost in New Zealand?
ServiceM8 charges by the number of jobs you create each month, not by how many staff you have, and every paid plan includes unlimited staff logins. As at July 2026 the NZD plans are Free at $0 for 30 jobs a month with one user, Starter $29/month for 50 jobs, Growing $79/month for 150 jobs, Premium $149/month for 500 jobs and Premium Plus $349/month for 1,500 jobs and up. There is a 14-day free trial. Extra SMS beyond your plan allowance is 10c each. Check servicem8.com/nz/pricing for the current numbers before you budget.
What does ServiceM8 setup cost with Horton Taylor?
Every setup covers the same ground: account configuration, quote and invoice templates, job cards, badges, forms and your Xero or MYOB connection. What moves the scope is how much data is coming across from Tradify, Fergus or spreadsheets, how many people need training, and how far you want online booking and automation to go. Book the free 15-minute call, tell Mitch how you quote and schedule now, and you get a straight number for your setup on the call. Whatever we do is separate from your ServiceM8 subscription, which you pay ServiceM8 directly.
Do I need a partner to set up ServiceM8?
You can set it up yourself, but most trade businesses get far more out of it when a certified partner configures it around how they actually work. We get it running properly the first time, so you save hours and avoid the common mistakes. Our walkthrough of how to set up ServiceM8 in NZ covers the order the work goes in, whoever does it.
Can I move from Tradify or Fergus to ServiceM8?
Yes. There is no direct connector between those tools and ServiceM8, so a migration is an export, a tidy-up and an import. Your client and site list, materials and price list, quote wording and recurring work all come across. Job photos, attachments, message threads and part-finished quotes do not, so we keep the old subscription open in read-only while you finish anything still open. Your invoicing history stays in Xero or MYOB.
Can you migrate me from spreadsheets or paper?
Yes, and it is usually the easiest migration of the lot. We take your client spreadsheet, clean it up, import it and rebuild your quote and invoice templates in ServiceM8 so nothing is retyped twice.
Does ServiceM8 work properly in New Zealand?
Yes. ServiceM8 publishes NZD pricing for New Zealand, handles GST, sends SMS to NZ mobile numbers and connects to both Xero and MYOB. The support you get from the vendor is Australian, which is why having a New Zealand partner to call is useful.
Who sets up ServiceM8 in New Zealand?
ServiceM8 Certified Partners do. Horton Taylor is one of them, run by Mitchell Horton from Mount Maunganui in the Bay of Plenty, and the listing is in the ServiceM8 partner directory at servicem8.com/partner-directory. You work directly with Mitch, not an account manager.
Which trades and service businesses do you work with?
Any service business that runs jobs. Builders, plumbers, electricians, painters, landscapers and roofers on the trade side, plus window cleaning, house washing, carpet cleaning, commercial cleaning and property maintenance companies. If you quote, schedule and invoice work, ServiceM8 and our setup will fit.
Can you connect ServiceM8 to my website and ads?
Yes, and this is where we are different. We also run your Google and Facebook ads and build your website, so we can connect your lead flow straight into ServiceM8: more leads in, every job tracked.
Can you customise ServiceM8 beyond the standard setup?
Yes. Alongside the standard configuration we do custom development: bespoke website forms, plugins and integrations built to push data from your site straight into your ServiceM8 portal. If ServiceM8 does not do something the way your business needs out of the box, we can usually build the bridge that makes it fit.
